Please note that corrections submitted to other staff members may not be addressed promptly or at all. When submitting a correction via email or mail, provide the correction details, including the issue date or number, the source where the error was found (print, online, etc.), your name, and a contact phone number or email address. Additionally, include the correct information and provide a source for verification, if applicable. For instance, if there was an incorrect Student Senate vote tally, please provide the meeting minutes.
The editor-in-chief will respond to your submission and may request further information or clarification if needed. It is important to note that submitting a correction does not guarantee that a correction will be issued, but it does guarantee that the error will be investigated.

Once the editor-in-chief is informed of an error, they will thoroughly investigate the issue using the information provided by the reader, such as meeting minutes, recordings, and any other available sources.
If an error is confirmed, the editor-in-chief will issue a correction in all forms where the incorrect information was disseminated.

Corrections will be printed on page 2A in the next issue. The correction will include the issue, article, incorrect information, and the correction.

The article will be corrected, and an editor’s note will be added to the bottom noting the incorrect information and the date of the correction.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
If the article was posted on Facebook, Twitter, or any other online platform controlled by rashtriyatime.com, a post will be made with a link to the corrected article and a note about the correction.
Once the correction is made, the editor-in-chief will contact the reader who submitted the correction and provide an update on the steps taken to correct the error.
